Sound, networking, usb drivers all not working on hp g71 windows 7 the other night i had noticed that the sound, networking, and usb drivers have failed on my laptop. i ran a full system virus scan on my comp, but nothing came up as malicious..
Intel mother board sound card which i have been using in windows xp, is not working in windows 7. when i installed win7, it auto detected the hd audio drivers from microsoft and updated to win 7. there is no problem in audio playback, but only in recording.. My pc is a dell precision 7710 running windows 7 professional 64 bit os. 32 gb ram, with a 1tb ssd system drive. i have trouble using bluetooth on my sennheiser momentum wireless m2 aebt headphones.. Windows 7 drivers are available for cmi8788, cmi8738, cmi8768, cmi8768+, cmi8770, and cmi8787, but windows 7's native drivers might work best. the windows 7 drivers linked to here are directly from c-media..
